This means you will be staying warm and dry this winter. A water resistant coating on the jacket’s outer layer stops water from entering, while moisture that builds up on the inside of the jacket is allowed to escape. The outer fabric of this jacket is PFC-free. The Slope JR is quilted and this is a great way to create more heat. Air is trapped between the stitching, that air warms up and you’re insulated. The chest and side pockets are zippered and the lift pass pocket has velcro closure. There’s a waist gaitor, lift pass pocket and lycra inner cuffs with thumb holes at the wrists. If the fabric is 10k or 10 000 mm, this means you can place a square tube with inner dimensions of 30mm x 30mm over the garment’s outer fabric and you could fill it with water to a height of 10 000 mm before water would begin to seep through. The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric.
